Has anyone heard of INSIDE Bear Magazine? Who the heck are these guys and where do they come from? Maybe most of you are wondering just that, or perhaps, you are delighted with our embarkment. It has been an eventful journey thus far! As many of you know by now, we have been trying to get the word out about INSIDE Bear Magazine—the lifestyle magazine for men. We’ve been contacting virtually every club not only in America, but also throughout the world! Hoping to unite all you Bear men and share with us as we’ve shared with you so far. Anyhow! When I was asked to write a position piece on the differences and similarities between online and real-life clubs, especially bear clubs, I had to really sit down and think about this one. Because of my close ties to the Internet and technology communities, I’ve had the privilege of helping to create some of our online society, and I’ve always had an interest and memberships in real-world social organizations; but I’ve never really thought about how they relate to each other and how one would go about deciding if one was better than the other.
